About

My Journey started during my junior year at Sidney High School with the broadcasting class. In that class, we worked on pre-recording daily announcements to the students as well as live-streaming sporting events.

I continued this work when I got to college with the Wayne State video production class/crew. During that time I assisted in live-streaming events and recording skits and student films. Between all of that, I also worked on sporting events such as football, soccer, basketball, track and field, which I continued to do even after my graduation.

During my sophomore year at college, I decided to take a couple of photography classes. In the middle of the second semester, the pandemic hit and I had trouble keeping up with classes. During that summer, I took joy in going on long walks and photographing good views and animals when they appear.

In the summer of 2021 I took the position of marketing intern at Carol Joy Holling for a summer camp. I really enjoyed that opportunity because it helped me advance both my photography and videography skills. These advancements were made by creating videos and posting pictures of all the activities that the campers participated in. I had a lot of fun making those videos, which I continued to do the next summer.

After graduating from college I continued to started working for UNO(University of Nebraska at Omaha), at Baxter Arena, who I am still working for. This job helped me expand my knowledge of live-sports broadcasting. Here, I started working with Hockey, softball, and baseball games.

My current position is working at a conference center setting up audio/video equipment for events. During the slow seasons, I love to go out and travel the country, taking great pictures and looking for new adventures.
